Warehouse Staff

Reports to Production Manager

Job Purpose

A Warehouse staff member is responsible for assisting other employees with various tasks throughout the facility. This person may float between different positions each day to ensure timely production. This includes helping with Sand Blasting, Receiving, Hanging, Powder Coating, and Packing.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assists in all areas of need throughout the Warehouse
  • Sandblasts safely and to customer specifications.
  • Hangs items on assembly life safely and orderly.
  • Proper use of Excel to maintain updated information on customer’s products.
  • Communicates with other staff members and management.
  • Maintains a clean an orderly work area.
  • Maintains, cleans, and repairs equipment as instructed by the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic IT skills (database, MS Office, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Able to process, organize and function under high stress conditions

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and extreme heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Powder Coat Painter

Reports to Production Manager

Job Purpose

A Powder Coat Painter sprays powder to coat products and determines acceptable condition of parts and quality level required under the direction of the Production Manager and/or Quality Assurance Department. Positions and adjusts all equipment to produce quality finished parts. Cleans and maintains equipment and stores and/or scraps materials upon completion of job.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Reviews production schedule and prepare powder for the day.
  • Updates production schedule as items are completed.
  • Sets up and adjusts guns to apply coating as specified by the Production Manager.
  • While painting parts, inspects for quality of finish. Informs Production Manager of any spraying or equipment problems.
  • Maintains and adjusts equipment.
  • Maintains a clean an orderly work area.
  • Maintains, cleans, and repairs equipment as instructed by the Production Supervisor.
  • Responsible for the proper cleaning of powder guns and all related equipment. Must be able to dismantle, clean, inspect, and determine production readiness of all equipment. Replaces high maintenance items as necessary. Reports any maintenance malfunctions to the Production Manager.
  • Handles all coatings with a minimum of loss (scrap). Weighs, labels, and returns usable material to storage. Enters this info into computer.
